JUNE 2016
Glastonbury Festival
Having chatted online for a few hours, we decided to meet at the home of music, Glastonbury Festival. We chatted the night away and agreed to see each other again! Unfortunately, Emma was left the festival straight after Coldplay, so Marcus took this as an invitation to come to London.
JULY 2016
London
Marcus came to London, when Emma decided to get us lost on the tube on the way to spend an evening on the Southbank. The rest of the weekend was spent eating, drinking and watching a musical.
NOVEMBER 2016
Somerset
Emma came to visit Marcus in Somerset and watch the famous Illuminated Carnival. We spent the weekend together in a small AirBnB in Moorlinch.
JUNE 2017
London
Following Glastonbury Festival, Marcus decided to quit his job (without telling mum) and move to Croydon, in with Emma, Anya and Matilda on Coniston Road, Addiscombe.
OCTOBER 2016
London
Marcus came to London for a few days and met the girls for the first time! We visited Shrek World in London and a great time was had by all!
OCTOBER 2017
Horsham
After enduring a few months in Croydon together, we made the decision to move to West Sussex. After some searching, we found a lovely house to rent on Devonshire Road, Horsham. We actually moved in on Halloween!
NOVEMBER 2019
Horsham
Before Covid-19 hit we introduced our puppy Zero into the family! A cocker spaniel with a cheeky smile, he fitted into the family straight away, although Tino (the cat) would argue that's not the case!
JANUARY 2021
Horsham
We made the decision to buy our first house together here in Horsham. After plenty of viewings we settled on a detached property on Furzefield Road where we still live today.
AUGUST 2023
Chania, Greece
After a chat with Steve the month before, and a cleverly devised plan which involved the girls sneaking the ring to Greece in their suitcase, Marcus (kind of) got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him! After thinking it was a joke and needing confirmation from Anya and Matilda, she finally said YES!

Horsham
Because we didn't feel like we had enough going on, we decided to introduce our new Cocker Spaniel puppy, Oogie to the family.
